Mohith Reddy (Mar) Arikatla

Biographical sketch:

Mar is a 1st year MS Computational Biology student at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is currently researching the heterogeneity and the importance of HIV variants and is focused on understanding the uniformity and correlation between tat and tar sequences in different variants of HIV. Mar obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and worked on structural biology, mutated HRas proteins and their contribution to Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma. He also was part of the runner-up team for the ABI class of 2022 - October. He also is part of the board for the Music and Medicine club at WCM and pursues his passion for music through songwriting and singing.
